AI Use Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026  ยท  Last updated: April 28, 2026

Short version: AI processes your data to generate outputs. Your data is never used to train third-party AI models. We identify what models are used. You can opt out of AI-assisted features. Outputs are not professional advice.

1. Our Commitment

AIGrowthNav uses AI to deliver value โ€” assessments, analysis, forecasts, and recommendations. This policy explains how AI is used within the Service, what happens to your data during AI processing, and what AI cannot and should not be trusted to do.

2. AI Models We Use

We use large language models (LLMs) accessed via API to power AI-assisted features. We route requests through a multi-model architecture that selects models based on task complexity and cost:

  • Primary models: We currently use OpenAI-compatible APIs for language tasks including assessment analysis, pipeline recommendations, and report generation.
  • Model selection: Simpler tasks may use lighter models. Complex analysis uses frontier models. The routing is automatic and invisible to you.
  • We may change model providers as the AI landscape evolves. We will update this policy when we make material changes to AI providers.

3. What Data Is Sent to AI Models

3.1 Data That May Be Transmitted

When you use an AI-assisted feature, the following data types may be included in the prompt sent to the AI model:

  • Business metrics you enter (pipeline values, revenue figures, conversion rates, deal counts)
  • Responses to assessment questions
  • Company context you provide (industry, team size, sales motion)
  • Specific questions or inputs you type into AI-powered tools

3.2 Data That Is Never Sent to AI Models

  • Payment information or card details (handled exclusively by Stripe)
  • Passwords or authentication credentials
  • Data from other customers
  • Internal system data not relevant to your request

3.3 Prompt Engineering and Data Minimization

We construct AI prompts to include only the data necessary to generate a useful output. We do not send gratuitous personal or business context. Prompts are designed to produce reproducible, explainable results.

4. Training Data Policy

๐Ÿ”’ Customer data submitted to AIGrowthNav is never used to train third-party foundation AI models. This is a hard commitment, not a preference.

Specifically:

  • We use AI model providers via API under data processing agreements that prohibit use of API inputs for model training.
  • Your pipeline data, assessment responses, and business metrics will not appear in any third-party AI model's training corpus.
  • This applies to all AI providers we use, now and in the future. If a future provider cannot make this commitment, we will not use them for features that process customer data.

Our own internal models (if and when developed) will be trained exclusively on anonymized, aggregated benchmark data and synthetic data โ€” never on identified customer submissions.

5. AI Accuracy and Limitations

AI-generated outputs have real limitations. You should understand these before acting on them:

5.1 Hallucination Risk

AI language models can produce outputs that are fluent, plausible, and incorrect. We implement validation steps for quantitative outputs, but no process eliminates all risk of inaccurate AI-generated content.

5.2 Context Limitations

AI models analyze the data you provide. They have no visibility into market dynamics, competitive landscape, macroeconomic factors, or business context you do not supply. Outputs reflect only what was in the prompt.

5.3 Recency

AI models have training knowledge cutoffs. Recommendations based on best practices may not reflect the most current industry developments.

5.4 Not Professional Advice

AI outputs are informational only. They are not legal, financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. See our full Disclaimer of Professional Advice.

6. Opt-Out Mechanics

6.1 Opting Out of AI-Assisted Features

All AI-assisted features in AIGrowthNav are invoked explicitly โ€” they run when you submit a form, click a button, or request analysis. There are no background AI processes running on your data without your action.

If you wish to use the Service without submitting data to AI models, you may:

  • Use only features that do not require AI processing (e.g., static resources, playbooks)
  • Request an account flag that disables AI-assisted analysis by emailing privacy@aigrowthnav.ai

Note: AI-assisted analysis is core to most paid products. Opting out may reduce the functionality available to you.

6.2 Deleting AI-Processed Data

You may request deletion of your submitted data at any time per our Privacy Policy. Deletion removes your data from our systems. We cannot retract data that was already sent to an AI model API during processing (that data is not retained by the provider per our agreements).

7. Responsible AI Practices

We are committed to responsible AI use:

  • Transparency: We label AI-generated outputs as AI-generated. We do not pass AI outputs off as human expert analysis.
  • Human review: For high-stakes recommendations, we encourage customers to have a qualified human professional review AI outputs before acting.
  • Bias awareness: Benchmark comparisons are based on historical data that may reflect existing industry patterns. Outputs should be interpreted in context.
  • No autonomous actions: AIGrowthNav AI does not take autonomous actions on your systems (does not write to your CRM, does not send emails on your behalf, does not make purchases) without explicit per-action authorization from you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if we change AI providers, add new AI-powered features, or make material changes to how data is processed. We will notify registered users via email of material changes.
